SMS Terms and Text Message Opt-In

Landlord's Desk, operated by 5637 Christiana LLC, sends text messages to tenants of landlords and property managers who use Landlord's Desk, when those tenants have agreed to receive them. All messages are sent by Landlord's Desk under the program name Landlord's Desk Rental Alerts. These terms describe the Landlord's Desk text message program. Text messaging is being introduced; these terms apply once you opt in.
Program description
Program name: Landlord's Desk Rental Alerts. Messages are about your rental and your account. They are not marketing messages.
Types of messages
- Rent reminders, such as upcoming or overdue rent and payment confirmations.
- Maintenance updates, such as when a request is received, scheduled or completed.
- Account notifications, such as documents to sign, lease renewals and important account updates.
- Replies to messages you send, such as a payment link when you text PAY.
How you opt in
You receive texts only after you agree to them, in one of these ways:
- Checkbox: in your private tenant page or account settings, you enter your mobile number and check a box that is not pre-checked, next to the consent language shown below.
- Keyword: you text START to the Landlord's Desk Rental Alerts number shown on your tenant page, and we reply to confirm your enrollment.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of renting, applying or paying rent.

Message frequency and cost
- Message frequency varies, depending on your rent schedule, maintenance activity and account notifications.
- Msg & data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
How to opt out or get help
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We'll send one message confirming that you've been unsubscribed, and then no more texts unless you opt in again.
- Reply HELP for help, or email hello@landlordsdesk.com.
- You can also turn off text messages in your tenant page or account settings.
Privacy
We do not share, sell or rent mobile numbers or text-message consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Other terms
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- You agree to tell us or your landlord if you change or give up your mobile number.
- These SMS Terms are part of our Terms of Service.
